MedBridge® 2.5 - The Effective Language Solution
This point-of-care technology based language solution provides health professionals with a method of communicating immediately and effectively with Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Deaf patients. Health professionals can assess, diagnose, treat, and comfort their patients while waiting for other language services, if available. MedBridge® 2.5 offers thousands of statements, close-ended questions, and detailed lists, used in day-to-day hospital encounters. These statements have been translated in 16 languages including American Sign Language (ASL).
A unique "click and play" approach makes it easy for health professionals and patients to use. LEP patients hear the voice of a Native Speaker through the use of audio. Deaf patients see a Native Deaf Signer through the use of videos. Along with the audio or video the statement being communicated is displayed in text on the screen.
