This first time Mom, who does not speak English, has decided to bottle feed her baby. Through the use of MedBridge® 2.5 she is receiving important information about how to warm the bottle, test the formula, tilt and hold the bottle and properly position the baby.
A patient rings for the nurse because he is cold...
This man, who does not speak English, is recovering from by-pass surgery. At 3:00 am he rings the call bell because he is cold. Through the use of MedBridge® his healthcare provider can immediately care for him.
A patient is being discharged...
This woman is being discharged from the hospital after having had surgery. The attending physician has prescribed a beta blocker. Through the use of MedBridge® 2.5 her healthcare provider can provide verbal and written medication instructions in her preferred language. Both the English and the translated text are included in the written instructions.
A patient going for a CT scan...
As this LEP patient is being taken to radiology, the technician is providing information about the CT scan, she will undergo. Through the use of MedBridge® 2.5, the technician is able to explain the purpose of the scan and obtain medical history. The technician can also "prep" the patient and provide instructions during and after the scan.
